Welcome Parents and Students!!
I am so happy to have you in my class this year. I hope you had a wonderful summer and are ready to begin a Kindergarten adventure. I know that I am looking forward to a great year full of fun and learning. There is so much for us to discover together!
I look forward to meeting each of you on Thursday, September 9th. Please arrive to the K-B classroom by 9:30 a.m. This Orientation Program will help parents and students get ready for the first day of school on Monday, September 13th. I will spend some time with the students first and then meet separately with the parents.
Parents, this time will help ensure that the beginning of the school year is a positive experience. Please set aside this very important time. If, for any reason, you cannot attend, kindly call the school office as soon as possible at 973-772-1149.

I think Barbara Davis did a very good job on her posting. She was very specific about the providing parents with details about the upcoming year! This is especially good for kindergarten parents because some may not not be used to the process of the first day of school! Good job!
Hi Mrs. Davis. It is great to see how you are making yourself available to the parents by offering your phone number for questions. Kindergarten is a very exciting and scary year for both the children and the parents because it's a new big place for the kids with lots of new people and the parents just don't want their babies to grow up. I'm sure the parents are full of questions!I think based on your introduction, the parents will feel comfortable leeting go of their "babies" and putting their trust in you. I wish you the best in your school year!
